This crochet dino pattern was inspired by one of my Dear Readers. He saw my Cuteosaurus Rex amigurumi pattern and asked for more. Since I really enjoy making animals, I was more than happy to create Curious Baby Diplodocus as well.

In this post I will first go over supplies needed and important notes. Afterwards I will provide the crochet dino pattern together with assembly instructions.

HEART

Make 1, using 3mm (US D-3) hook and 5 strands of brown yarn. Similar to what we have done with cheeks – take 5 strands out of 9.

Ch 2 and make all stitches in the very first chain.

2 dc, 2 hdc, dc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, ch 2 and slpst to finish off. Leave tail for sewing. Attach heart to the crochet dino’s body.
